Fall of Freedom

Part of Thrive: United for Democracy, involved building a database of democracy related resources to help our attendees, presenters, and coordinators locate like minded individuals not only across the country but also from the world beyond our borders. 

Fall of Freedom is one of those resources that resonated with me. 

It’s an open invitation to artists, creators, communities to celebrate experiences, cultures, and identities that shape our nation. 

The next event they are sponsoring is MayDay 2026. If you were planning to observe the national strike, consider joining an event or creating your own.

“A focused, urgent call to artists and arts institutions across all sectors to make art, music, plays, exhibitions, comedy, and beautiful protests aligned with immigrants' rights organizing, to amplify struggles against repression and state violence”

You can join their email list to get updates, and on their site you can get support for starting an event in your own area with templates for messaging, and if you register your event, you can get it listed on their national map.
